Partnership with the Embassy of Côte d’Ivoire in Japan

Nov 04, 2021

For some, Africa represents not only the cradle of humanity but also its future. The various countries of Africa are developing rapidly. Their populations consistently demonstrate a desire to establish the continent as a pillar of tomorrow’s global economy. AILAW recognizes that now is the time to invest in trade relations with the countries of Africa. This is a view that the firm shares with the Embassy of Côte d’Ivoire.

AILAW is hard at work to help create a legal environment for its clients which minimizes risk and maximizes profitability on the African continent. In the midst of these efforts, AILAW is pleased to announce that Mr. Shinji Sumida, the firm’s representative-director has recently signed a retainer agreement with the Embassy of Côte d’Ivoire in Japan.

This comes on the heels of Mr. Sumida’s work as an auditor for the Japan Côte d’Ivoire Friendship Association and the publishing of his book on Africa Business and Legal Affairs. Over the past several years, Mr. Sumida has also invested in and maintained relationships with African actors in the continent or here in Japan.

AILAW is proud to add another embassy to its growing list of clients and looks forward to collaborating with the Embassy of Côte d’Ivoire.
